What kinda car, dude?

So I think I need to replace my fuel pump. It's making a whining/grinding kinda noise. Car still runs fine I'm sure it's just on it's way out. What else in the fuel system would you guys recommend replacing for preventive/performance maintenance? And I was also wondering what you guys a running for Fuel Pumps? Does anyone run anything bigger than stock?
Also I'm gonna be ordering all new rear brakes and wheels bearing and everything for the rear. What's a good site that's not super expensive to order from? I wanna go disk rear eventually so I don't wanna spend a ton on stuff that's just gonna get changed out later. I also need a front CV boot. Figured I'd just replace the whole axle since it'll be out. Any recomendations on where to get that for a good price?
Also what are some little things I can do the get a little more performance out of this thing? I was thinking a header, decat, exhaust, maybe a cam and then just redoing the ignition system. Anything else? Should I upgrade anything ignition or fuel wise?4
Thanks in advance! And man is this car fun to drive, even while needing an alignment extremely bad!

Ah you're in Canada or Europe then. We weren't lucky enough to get them here in the US after '88. If you're exhaust manifold is the "toilet" flange type(it has two spring clips holding the downpipe to it), then the first upgrade should be to swap over to a better manifold and downpipe. Might as well upgrade the rest of the exhaust while you are at it, especially if you are going to put a cam in it. Where do you live?

I'm actually stationed in Germany but from Utah. And I'll look at the manifold. What kinda mani do you all recomend? And is there anyway to put a decat in it but still be able to change it back to cat for inspections?
