So I bought the flange that goes on the side of the engine to fix my coolant leak. But I was walking out to my car an I noticed a drip under my car and I took a look and say it dripping from my power steering pump (I'm certain it's coolant). I checked to see if any of the hoses are leaking and it doesn't appear so. Any ideas? could it be the infamous water pump leak?

Oh yeah 97 Jetta 2.0.....figured it help if I told you the car and engine.

yes it is. I can't remember if '97 had G12 (pink) coolant or G11 (blue) The PS fluid and coolant if it has G11 look pretty similar. But easy way to tell is look in the coolant bottle to see if its empty.

Well My car has Dex-Cool in it, and it smells JUST like coolant 100% positive. When the pump (if it really is the pump gets changed I'm having the system flushed and having the correct stuff put in.
