Thread: front bumper removal. what am i missing?

    got a black sourround today, i used this link to remove the bumper

    icant find the10mm bolt. shown in the link the bumper is still attached somwhere on the headlight area, but i cannot find anything else to remove.
    where are the 10mm bolts? any more tips?

    you need to pull in inner fender liner down, its def tricky to find(I know from last week) but keep looking and you will find it. sorry i know thats not much help

    They are definitely a reach. Much easier with the wheels off.
    A VR6 AWD w/ lots of goodies

    Like he said ^^^ Remove wheel or turn it so you have some clearance pulling the the fender liner and reaching with the 10mm rachet- you'll probably going to need an extension.

    thanks got the bumper off, now trying to get the M_F grill off of the bumper GRR....

    got it done, bumper removal was not hard, just took some time. next time will be a snap.
    the grill was a mo-fo to remove from the bumper,

    i just did a black sourround with gray s-line on the rest.
    the plate delete pc that has the 2 chrome strips on it i think i will paint them gloss black to match
    (when i get time)

    having done this twice, the only hard thing for me was removing and replacing the screw in the picture above labeled B. Everything else was easy to reach. No need to remove wheels, just turn them away from the side you're working on.

    I've done this over 20 times, get easy at about the 3rd run.

    Haha yep, same here. Almost so easy at this point that I forget what it was like to try and do it the first time...
