I flew into the international terminal at Chicago O'hare yesterday afternoon from Italy, it was the biggest headache ever. It's now Monday... Out of the costs for added police, fire, and first responders/EMTs, damage to private institutions, damage to public infrastructure, 2-3 thwarted terrorist attacks, etc., what was accomplished by this movement?
I think I learned that someone can't afford a house and wants my $ to pay for it, but other than that, it seems like a total waste. Somebody should've gone through the crowd asking what the acronym "NATO" stands for... Would've been good for a laugh.
Ok so no fossil fuels, No Foreign oil, No nuclear power, But....
No wind farms due to bird migration.
No solar farms due to land use and cost.
No wave power due to impact on sea life.
No drilling for domestic oil due to environmental impact.
So what do we do now? give me that magic energy wand you have.
And stop forcloser...does everyone get a free home now?
By that logic I can then assume you are a "left-wing sourpuss" that thinks energy comes from nothing, homes do not need to be paid for and jobs can just materialize out of thin air, right?
Go ahead. Your one-size-fits-none worldview is false no matter who you apply it to, so you might as well apply it willy-nilly.By that logic I can then assume you are a "left-wing sourpuss" that thinks energy comes from nothing, homes do not need to be paid for and jobs can just materialize out of thin air, right?
