    hey guys its been a few years since I've made it down but i loved it when i was there and super stoked for this year, trying to plan ahead and get a place to stay i thought id try camping but struggling to find tent camping around??! has any one been or planning on going to any nice spots they'd like to share info about?

    you can camp on assateague, there's random sites around I think but I'm not familiar with them

    assetegue state park is nice.
    the national park on the other end is cheaper, but has pit toilets and cold showers.

    can't wait to camp and check out this state park. should be fun seeing the cars at the campgrounds.

    i thought about it yesterday, and would love to camp it up when I go. Its my first trip to H2O, and dont feel like dropping hundreds on a hotel. Plus id rather camp anyway... how far are the campgrounds from OC?

    IIRC, state park has better facilities ie hot water.

    I know a few have stayed @ www.frontiertown.com

    the show is being held at a campground.. dunno if its open to campers that weekend. LoL you can camp in my back yard if you want its around the corner from the event lol youll have to find a place to poop lol

    2007 I camped at castaways for the weekend it's kinda out there and also chances are it is going to rain like every year lol I'm staying at the sea bay hot check it out it's very affordable! I'm paying 350 for four nights haha

    Idk how it is now but back then everyone was nice n we all gathered at a site n just hung out all night
