Thread: Driver carrying kids in trunk of car almost hit by a truck.

Title looks scarier than it was but heres the video..

Even though the kids look to be amused this has to be one of the dumbest things I have seen on the internet in some time.

I think it was close, but not close enough for it to have been an "almost hit."

As for the kids riding in the trunk? WTF?

This is hardly surprising. When I visited Uruguay in my 1988 my grandparents had an old Peugeot pickup - no car. So we rode in the bed, on the highway. No big deal.

    That happens everyday around here.
Even on SH130 with a speed limit of 80mph.

That didn't really seem like much of a near miss to me.

My friend Rob was left paralyzed for life because he rode in the trunk of a car for 3 miles and the car was T-Boned by a drunk driver.

    Don't ride in the trunk.

am i the only one who thinks that the only reason that truck had to cross the median is because an idiot with the camera was blocking the lane by almost stopping just to get a shot....
...you guys are blaming the wrong driver...

Agreeing with you on that one. He was already in his driveway when the truck passed...

My dad used to have this ford work van, and he'd let me and my friends ride in the back. He'd basically try to make us barf going over bumps and stuff. We'd smash off of the walls and I remember my brother denting the roof. It was a blast.

    Well.
    It was almost newsworthy.
if only the semi driver was a little faster...

Last weekend, I saw a 70's F-150 pulling a boat with the bed of the truck full of little boys in just swimming trunks.

I don't know, reminds me of the old days. We used to be able to fit 11 kids in an old Ford Capri.

So that's where all the Opel Asconas have gone, to Romania! We have lots of poor Romani-people here, and for some strange reason, almost all of them drive around in Opels...

Reminds me of Hawaii. 80 mph is a misdemeanor, but doing 65 mph with your whole family in the back of your pickup truck is totally acceptable.
