Yeah, no doubt. I have a VAGCOM and I am led to believe that I can use APRs application to unlock it. I am told that I it could just be a matter of utilizing the instrument cluster along with the ECU. Which I have also.

It should work in an 03 GTI. They had the same engine, ECU, etc.

Im talking about the program VW installs on it called "IMMO III" its supposed to prevent theft and such. Makes it a little difficult to swap the ECU from one car to another. You would need to pay the dealership to unlock it, APR could unlock it, or you might even be able to do it yourself with APR's program and a VAGCOM or Cheetah cable. I haven't had the time to be able to sit down and do it myself otherwise I would have done it. Every time I think about it there is too much going on.

As far I understand the immobilizer is active, I am rigth? In case it is active there any way to deleted?

I do have the wiring harness however its still in the chassis. Im not sure that I have the time to extract it. Its bound for the scrap yard in less than two weeks and I am moving and if I do find the time to pull it, the harness would cost a extra.
