Manifold, downpipe, and turbine housing vband adapter came back from the machine shop. Started adding wg port. I forgot to pick up more purge gas, so I'm there now.

Did a lot today. Not as much as I wanted to. Built the fmic air dam. Finished the cold side piping. Pulled the motor in preperation for the clutch install. Split the tranny to confirm 1/2 gear selector fork rivit is damaged. Only have pictures of the first though.

I need to shift the fmic 1/8th to the passenger side. Not a big deal. My buddy, Buddy, came over and said "not sure if rice, or functional". I said hold on, threw the bumper on. Then he said "Ah, most definitely functional"

      2am "opening the tranny" car-party.

Been busy, and not a lot of time to work on the car. Got the vacuum lines done, and the intake started. I need to order another cobra head, because I cut this one a little too short, and a 4" alu 45*, and filter.

I had to cut down the inlet flange on the turbo, and weld a 90 to the outlet flange. I also had to seal the OE wastegate port.

Hey now, they aren't stock mounts. They're 90 durometer filled stock housings. Once I get some more cash, they need to get replaced.

I had her on the road just a little bit ago. The fx400 isn't too easy to drive, but I'll get used to it. And I think I have the boost controller lines on backwards, because she scares the **** out of me. Once it spools up (around 3500-4000 full boost), all my gauges go flying and I can't see ****. I put it in a higher gear and watched it spool. I'm shooting for 19psi on the stock block. Once it hit 19, I shifted. But it spooled up so fast that I saw it go to 35..... Good thing I'm quick on the clutch.

The completely open exhaust sounds like a damn freight train on the road. I love it.

95% sure the oil pressure gauge line melted and sent oil down the shifter cables. The rubber on the shifter cables shift what caught fire. If I had put the heat shield back on, there's no way we would have got the fire out. And my dumb ass forgot to take the fire extinguisher.

Block is toast, but I don't care about that.
heater core fittings, which I wasn't hooking up anyway
      turbo blanket
      silicone 90
      2x tbolt clamps
firewall insulation is a little crispy, but ok

The biggest thing is some insulation on the wiring for the avcr got Burnt. Ill repair it and hopefully avcr is ok.

when you first bailed from the car, it looked like you weren't coming back and you wanted to sit back and watch it go up. the flames kept getting higher and it looked like it was going to be tragic.
