I have a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8 turbo with around 112,000 miles. I am the second owner of the car, bought it with 80k on it almost 2 years ago. Did an o2m 6 speed swap on the car (was not half-***d, done by a professional mechanic) about 10k miles ago. Tranny came out of an 04.5 gli with 70k on it. Car is great, I really enjoy driving it but am ready for something new (to me). I will sell for the right price or trade for the right car, LOOKING SPECIFICALLY FOR CORRADOS OR MK2s! Car is in Worcester, MA, willing to drive a little.

Mods/Maintenance

INTERIOR -
-Leather seat swap, 2 fronts and rear bench (sunfade on front seats but no tears anywhere)
-Newsouth indigo boost gauge with pod

ENGINE/TRANSMISSION- (new means 5k or less)
-6 speed swap 02m (including axles, new starter, clutch/flywheel)
-K&N Cold air intake/ short ram intake
-New bosch alternator
- BRAND NEW timing belt kit w/ water pump, serpentine belt, pulleys, everything euro parts (JUST DONE)
-New battery
-New vacuum and coolant hoses
-Custom Catback exhaust with res delete and no muffler (just a chrome tip) (sounds great)
-New oil pan
-Coil packs and spark plugs replaced

Exterior -
-17" mercedes amg monoblocks w/ brand new toyo proxes
-H&R 20mm adapters
-Raceland ultimo coils (few thousand miles)
-painted grill and rub strips.
-Thule roof rack with bike attachment.

Good- Everything, Doesn't NEED anything.
Bad- could use a few cosmetic repairs to be perfect. paint shows 10 years of age but looks great when washed. (dent on drivers side rear door and pass side quarter panel, few scratches on rear bumper from 1st owner, front bumper could use realigning) CAR IS BEST SEEN IN PERSON!

Still have stock 5 spoke 15" rims as well in great condition. Still have stock suspension if interested. Still have extra starter and shift linkage as well. Still have engine covers. Still have cloth interior. Car can be restored to near stock condition minus rubs and exhaust. ALL RECALLS HAVE BEEN FIXED AT VOLKSWAGEN DEALERSHIP! MY FATHER AND I DID ALL THE WORK ON THIS CAR AT HIS GARAGE (MEINEKE CAR CARE CENTER), MAINTAINED BY CERTIFIED MECHANIC.

Would love to help you out but that is too far. I am taking summer courses so I wouldn't have the time to make a trip like that.

take it off, wet sand it with 1000 or 2000 grit sandpaper (very fine sand paper to take off the clear). When the surface is dry and sort of flat, use "textured" spray paint on it. Give it like 2 or 3 coats.

What kind paint did u use and does it hold up

You should look these things up like I did instead of asking questions on forsale threads, but I used rustoleum black textured spray paint. You can get it at home depot. And yes it holds up great, just make sure you use a few coats and wetsand well before applying.
