I talked to the owner for a while. He is with http://www.mfauto.com in Knoxville and bought the incomplete TDI race car that was for sale in South Carolina last year. I have never seen a common rail Diesel swap before so I was real impressed.

Obviously you haven't owned your car long enough to know how unreliable they are. LOL Had a 70lb toolbox, spare charger, 1 gal of antifreeze, Grill w/ charcoal, floor jack, 5 gal gas can, jump box, jumper cables, 6qts of oil, washbucket, towel, garden hose, electric sander/grinder, cooler, Bicycle, Cleaning products, paint, travel bag and spare tire. With room to spare. Interior of my car was clean and empty! The people who saw me and tried to pass me on the "Tail of the Dragon" can attest to my car and trailers abilities. LOL Hope to see some pics and videos of that! When i show my car on Sundays I can leave my stuff in my trailer locked and not worry about people steeling it.

Ive owned my car long enough to know that I don't need to haul around a ****in GRILL! I carry some basic tools and jumper cables. If anything more than that goes wrong then you'll need to order parts anyways. Seriously- the trailer is a joke unless you are driving across the country and even then I would never do it.

You guys are crazy, a trailer destroys the purpose of the Corrado and fwd can't tow anyways.

Im with James on this one..Rados arent meant to tow trailers on a regular, but it's a cool thing having 1/2 of your car as a trailer when going to a meet.
Id still prefer no tow hook and trailer for my car![]()

Just make a hide away hitch or a detachable one that way you can lock it up in the trailer and no one would ever know also install air ride so you can adjust the height for heavier applications it's actually a pretty bad ass idea if you do I right
#60
Europe had an optional hitch hidden behind a panel that folded down. Clean look when not in use.
Crisvr6 probably has a pic.![]()

If I didn't have the trailer hooked up you would never see the hitch. If my car were to break down which it has it was fixed that day. The main reason why I built it was to store stuff and not have it stolen. All of you who have attended waterfest can attest to that.

I've seen pics of it before and I think the trailor a a great thing to bring to a show however I wouldn't use the trailor to making a living off it or for instance moving my house furniture. Great thing to see at a show.![]()

Explain what a real suv. One that full frame, most suv are unibody style just like modern cars. Awd, most are these day are fwd setup with option of awd. Some bigger suv are rear wheel drive and option of awd drive or 4x4. I will rock VW tiguan if it came with diesel here in the states or even 2.5 I5. Not fan of tsi engines. It's a small suv, I thing it's more of golf plus with ground clearance.
That like saying 4cylinder trucks aren't real trucks. Toyata made some 2.7 torquey 4cylinders in there tocama. everything has it's limits whatever it is.
Yes corrados aren't know for towing-trailing stuff. That a cool trailer and well made too.to 3 bar. Just like rados on bags isn't for everybody including me.

More pictures please. I'm done with towing venting here.![]()

James What makes you an expert on towing vehicles? I've been towing my trailer behind my Corrado longer than you have been legally able to drive and have never had an issue towing it.
