Not to worry then: a 308 doesn't have much in the way of horsepower.

I'd be reluctant to trust any stranger, much less a youngster, with a Ferrari-priced clutch or gearbox or valvetrain though. Very cool neighbor.

I took a limo to prom, as did pretty much everybody.
Then again we can drink up here around that time, so driving was a no go.

That is absolutely incredible. If the date doesn't like it because it's "just and old car", you need to leave her at the prom and just go driving that thing. Jeez that's incredible.

      Super cool!

If I was old and had a nice car I would let the neighbor take my ferrari to prom if I knew he was a car nut. Why the hell not?

your neighbor is a really really nice person and your a lucky dude

a friend of mine offered to pay me for using my sti for prom night and i declined without hesitation.
its hard to trust a young in experienced 18 year old. he cant handle the speed of his own car (scion tc numerous speeding tickets and totaled once within a year) and i know he wouldnt be able to respect my car with more than double the hp of his car.

To all the other youngsters out there, this is the payoff for acting respectful to your neighbors and not driving like a clown.
