Aside from the fact that I'm an idiot, it took me 5 reads of the Bentley to figure out what they meant....oh, and I found the elusive 5th bolt for the Power Steering Pump.

I'm about ready to firebomb my 1989 Golf. I can't get ANY of the belts off so I can start doing my Timing Belt/crankshaft/intermediate/camshaft seal.
I managed to loosen up the Alternator a little, but not enough to remove the belt.
I've loosened 4 bolts on the Power Steering pump, but can't get that bugger to move AT ALL.
Bentley is useless when it comes to removing belts, and shows NO pictures at all.
Is there some sort of secret to removing the belts? I haven't even mentioned the super-vague description Bentley gives for removing the main v belt.
