  1. 05-19-2012 06:31 PM #1
Alright guys heres the deal, i just got this GTI for really cheap and it has a lot of work to get done. Just got brand new paint but its missing a lot of the 20th ae gti stuff i think, i don't know much. I need recaros any rim suggestion front bumper side skirts roof rack but im really excited to hear from all you im sure you all know what i need to do! thank you. I'm still in highschool so im not ablw to pay tons of money for any big things just more of what i need and what would look best!

If anyone has any extra parts they are willing to give me it would be awesome i would be willing to pay for shipping, or if anyone wants to sell me any extras let me know how much you want!

I will have pictures up soon, for now heres a video for now.

Good luck. Making your car whole again will not be cheap. Save up and buy the right stuff once, have a vision and stick to it.

If you're on a tight budget, I would recommend sitting on it as is and replacing/repairing things as they come up. You might not like to look at those seats, but you can still sit in them. If the timing belt snaps though, you're not going anywhere. Check junkyards, look for deals at local meets or wait until something for the right price pops up online. Function before form.
My 20th is currently: clean/dirty girl, out for the summer/hiding from salt and sand, CEL on/off. I currently love/hate my car.

I have rear 20th recaros and 20th pedals for you if you want them. Also have a lot of other bmp 20th parts available. Let me know if you need anything
Projects like this are super rewarding once you get it to where you want it. Good luck man!

Shaved rubstrips.. The best thing about it, other than thank god the number plate is still present. Does it have a clean title? Because it looks like both airbags were blown. Now that I watched the video I feel real bad for you.. I don't think you quite realize what you got yourself into.

How much do you want for the back seats and 20th pedals? what other stuff do you have...?

  8. 05-20-2012 08:46 PM #8
    I paid 2,500 for it

I believe it. I hope you have the time, energy, and most importantly, money to bring this back from the brink. I'll be looking forward to updates.
