Well after purchasing a 15lb braille battery online and looking at mounting solutions i didnt feel like spending another $100 on the aluminum bracket from braille or going through jegs and spending even more. So i decided to make my own.
    Prices are as follows:
    2- 12" x 12" pieces of 16 awg steel from home depot
    3- rubber washers
    2- aluminum crush washers
    2- steel bolts
    2- steel nuts
    1- oem battery blanket
1- can of grey rustoleum primer
1- can of gloss black rustoleum paint
Entire cost minus tools came to $33 and the satisfaction i didnt have to reuse the crap stock battery box and is actually lighter than the braille option. My weight estimates for the stock option is 35lb for stock battery, 5lb for stock battery box. If anyone has real world weights let me know.
so stock is 40 lbs est.
My solution 15lb for battery, 4.5lbs est. for enclosure
    My solution 19.5lbs
40lbs- 19.5lbs = 20.5 lbs lighter than stock. Thats more removed off the front end than a carbon fiber hood! Comments & questions welcome.

the eh comment was most likely referring to your welds, but if that's all you have to work with then more power to you for making an effort
Real name is Matysik not Matt or any other thing you guys conjure up

quite possible, the welds were ****ty at first due to me relearning to mig, and a lack of gas.
