Advice On Purchasing A3 With Multiple Owners, Warranty Work

I'm looking at purchasing an 2008 A3. It's just out of warranty. The carfax lists three owners and quite a bit of warranty work including the drive shaft, axle shaft, intakes replaced, and brakes replaced. The car is chipped. Would this indicate that the car has been driven hard? I've had my GLI for 160k miles and had no warranty work besides the PCV. It concerns me that the car had so much work. I would greatly appreciate any advice.

lots of warranty work is not a good thing, as it shows the car was not built well.

the previous owners were lucky it was under warranty, but you won't have that protection

how can you enjoy the car if its constantly in the shop ?
