Seems the Helen PD were really nailing people this year.
Saw countless amounts of people getting pulled over, ticketed for DUI's, and the like.
Heck, my buddy got ticketed for holding a sign that said "Tits Out". I guess I was lucky nothing happened to me after holding a "Burnout" sign

    So who else got tickets?
Not gonna lie, SoWo was still awesome this year despite the mayhem.

Idiots are going to ruin the show. That stuff is unnecessary.

Seems like the cops weren't too bad Friday, then Saturday night turned into complete dickheads and changed what they wanted to enforce harder. Do allow **** one night then be a total **** about it one night.

I'm sure they are a bit overwhelmed though. Sowo is probably a bit different than holding down the magic shop every night.

I would have to agree my group had no issues either but we act like adults when it counts. Having a burnout sign, or telling people to do **** like that is stupid and if people don't get that we won't have a SOWO anymore.

he's over here browsing on his phone and didn't want to type it up on there sooo...

zrace says: office called me a "smart alec" for telling him I was on private property when he asked everyone to get off the sidewalk. He pulled me onto the sidewalk and proceeded to write me up a public intoxication ticket (after being forcefully pulled into public property). I told him I'd fight the ticket and I would win (which I have the right to do... no?) and he simply arrested me and booked me for disorderly conduct and public intoxication. They let me out shortly after my friends showed up and described the situation. No bail was required but I still have these citations.

Got a verbal warning for slowly rolling through a stop sign with no other car in sight.

Out of all the craziness happening and I get pulled over for not coming to a complete stop. Wut?

What a concept. It amazes me how much people cry about getting "caught" doing things they shouldn't be doing..

1 arrest and 5 tickets? That's light work for the amount of people that I'm sure were there.. I made it 4 straight years, had to miss this one, hopefully well attend '13....

Thought it was pretty tame compared to last year... Though the begging by the less than 21yr olds for alcohol got annoying after awhile.

If you got a ticket/arrested chances are you deserved it. Grow up...

I saw some kid on a scooter (the ones that look like tiny sportbikes, whatever the heck you call those) on the streets near the BBQ place.

    He got pulled over.

...yet another "don't be stupid & you won't be ticketed" moment.

    No just a cop insight

This show is going to be no different than h20 and WF - the more insane it gets the more cops and enforcement there will be each year - everyone should know going in - cops LOVE to cite young kids in fast cars. Its what they live for.

The things i saw that were kinda lame:
-the guy w the UG GTI mk v and highlighter yelllow Work ? wheels doing ridic speed down the slower drag w more foot traffic and little kids on Sat
-way too much littering on the park and public prop - garbage cans everywhere, cmon
I think next year im going to bring large garb bags and sweep thru town and pick up as much as i can to help Helen out
-the Harley dicks shouldve been pulled over for their ridic pipes - not one!

Other than that it was a great time and not nearly as insane as h20
