    That's a cool idea (I actually had a similar one) but they probably wont go for it. I work at the UDOT Traffic Operations Center and have been a part of two or three motorcades and escorts I looked into this a while back. I talked with the UDOT Signal Timing Supervisor for R2 recently (to find out what was involved) and he said it wasn't really worth the time for 50-75 cars since the time of day plans for auto-mall and the 10600 S can easily handle that extra group of cars. So even if you can get Sandy city to approve the police support, UDOT isn't interested in doing the signal side of things, which kinda kills it.

    well i hope we might be able to do something of the sorts maybe have them block the intersection so we can all mob out together cuz that would be cool, so im looking into it, my brother said id have to get a special event permit for it, but my dad knows alot of people with sandy city so hopefully he can work something out.
