This may get depressing. Hahaha Just looking for mods not routine maintenance because for some that list could go on for days. Post up the most recent picture of your car at the end.

I paid: $12,500 for the car in 2005 it had 45k miles on it.

    Wheels:

1.19" Huff reps, $1200 (new to the game and totally stupid)
    2. 17" AMG Monoblocks, $500
    3. 18" A8 Sewer caps/ Pie plates, $300 (I'm getting smarter as I learn more haha)
    4. 18" MAE crown jewels, $900 (really didn't pay for these, I sold the A8 wheels for the same price)

    Suspension:

    Used Koni coilovers: $500
Mason Tech airride and management: $3200

    Exhaust:

    Techtonics Tuning TP/DP: $300
    Magnaflow exhaust: $165
    Vibrant resonator: $70

    Exterior:

    DDM HIDs: $75
    Yellow Highbeams: $8
    License plate LEDs: $8
    Depo headlights: $200
    S4 skirts: $100
    S4 door sills: $100
M3 lip spoiler: $200 (thats with having it painted. I actually sold it a long time ago)
    Tint: $80
Used front mount: $80 (sold this a long time ago)

    Interior:

Complete S4 swap: $700 (can't really remember the exact amount because I pieced it together over a year)
    Black sport seats: $250
Black cloth sport seats: $0 (traded my leatherettes for them)

    Future project: 5 speed swap

I've got $590 in that so far with most parts being purchased already.

So I've owned the car since 2005, started modding it in 2007. So in the last 4.5 years I've spent: $9,526 dollars in upgrades (and downgrades [>_<]) alone. This isn't including all the misc. maintenance crap either, I don't even think I could add all that up!

Pretty short list of mods so far since I've been doing mostly maintenance but here it is anyway.

Paid $2900 for the car about 8 months ago.
    -VMaxx coilovers: $750
-Custom 2.75" exhaust with dual tip Magnaflow muffler: $650
    -ECS Stage 1 clutch kit - $600
-Mercedes 17x8.5 et35 wheels (not on car yet): $180
    -Tires: $400
-OEM Big Brake Kit (not on car yet): $300
-EBC Yellow Stuff Front Pads (waiting for brake kit): $110

Pretty basic and plain right now but I'm trying to get it running right. Really wanna hang on to this car for a while.

Haha you and Bobby...when he was down last year he said the same and fixed it. I don't know how it went back in. I think it looks worse then it is cause of the angle.

I don't have specifics, but I'm fairly certain it's well north of $15k.
Paid $7200 for the car in 2008. Sold it in '10 for $7200 with over $5k in maintenance and additional performance parts.
Bought it back in Nov. '11 for $2500 with a blown turbo and bad rings.
This latest motor build is full of large dollar purchases on the regular. We'll see where we end up here in about a month.

1999 1.8t Quattro from purchase up to this point of being fully functional has been.. wait for it... $1,800
Ya... talk about pulling off a low budget build. Why buy a new turbo when u can just weld the pieces of the old broken one back together!
    Car was $1,500.
    Gutted the cat for free
Oil cooler, sensors, lines, and some odds and ends ran about $300 new.
