ive got an 88 16v scirocco. working on some performance issues.
i've been having a 5 second period of no/low power through all areas off the powerband.
almost feels like a misfire on a cylinder, but theres no change in exhaust tone. this was before and after plug, plug wires and dizzy cap and rotor replacement.
when driving it just feels like the car looses half power. doesnt stall or anything but if im at WOT i can feel it slow, then pick right back up again.
been a while sence an 02 sensor replacement. but looking at other options 1st. i'm in the process of replaceing the fuel filter but i dont think that will make a difference.
