    Thread: Cobra Pictures?

    1. 05-20-2012 03:27 PM #1
Hey Vdubbers, I was one of the guys in the Cobras. If you saw a guy that wasn't in his 50's in the passenger seat wearing red wayfarers, it was me. I was the youngest person in the group by nearly 30 years. Haha.

Did anyone get some decent high-res pics of ours or any others? Our car has lots of decals and vintage logos all over it. We also have "86" on the front quarters. All of those old MF'ers didn't know how to operate a camera, and my Rebel took a **** on the first day.

If I can get some decent pics, I'll send them over to the SCOF (Superformance Cobra Owners Forum).

      Thanks!!

      -Dave

That was Randall Thomas - he's a renowned offroad racer. He was also the main organizer of the whole Cobra rally.

Found you! I figured I'd have at least one. Now at least everyone else will know which cobra your after pics of.

Not nearly as good as the one above, but I found these on my camera:

Wow! I didn't expect to have such an awesome response to this thread.

If you have ever wanted one of these, buy one. Don't try to justify it, or you'll back out. These cars were "Superformance Replicars", and are pretty much the closest/most accurate reproduction of an original AC Cobra. If you're on a budget and don't care about looks, you can always go with a Factory5 or other lower end brand.

The only thing I can compare these to are crotch rockets. The big block versions have the same break-neck acceleration as my last 600RR... but with 1/4th of the gas mileage

Figured I would come back and bump this thread.

I plan on making an account and thread on the Cobra board, so it'd be nice to have a few more pics to post up.

      Hook a brojesus up.
