Don't take anything this gyy VW_OCD takes seriously. He is a FLAKE!!! He just screwed me over majorly bad this weekend. I had agreed to purchase his 1982 Caddy. He first agreed to meet me half way so that I could purchase it. Then he called me last night, the night before I was to drive and pick the truck up, and told me he could not meet me because he was moving. I said ok, if I buy a plane ticket to fly in tomorrow morning would you be able to pick me up at the airport. He said absolutely, and I said I will call you as soon as I book my flight. We agreed upon a price, (a price he threw out there) and everything was set to go. I looked at flights last night and found some for about $380, I was encouraged to wait until the morning because last minute flights are often cheaper. This morning at 7:00 a.m. I purchased a ticket for $316. I then called and called and called him this morning with no answer, and then at 9:30 this morning he texted me to let me know he sold the truck for $500 more than we had agreed upon. He did not even call me to see if I would pay the extra $500 he just sold it out from underneath me after a 15 minute conversation last night about a price we both agreed upon, and that I was buying a ticket first thing in the morning to fly in and pick up the Caddy. After being on the phone with airline for at least an hour trying to get a refund, I now have a plane ticket that I can not get a refund on, they will only give me credit towards another flight. This is seriously messed up! Is this how we are supposed to treat people? It's a real shame that people in the VW community would treat other people like this. What a huge waste of my time and money, and a huge letdown on a Caddy that I was 100% willing to pay what I had to, to get. Don't do business with this guy! He has no character and will screw you over as soon as he gets a chance!

Yeah, it really really sucks! I was willing to pay top dollar for this Caddy. This guy went on and on about how he wanted to see it go to a VW guy and he came up with the price he wanted to sell it to me for, not me. And then he goes and sells it out from underneath me! That's low really really low, especially after he knew I was purchasing a plane ticket. No wonder he did not answer his phone, he was probably selling it out from underneath me just after I had purchased my ticket. Unbelievable! If you would have told me someone on this forum would have done this to me I would have said NO WAY! Well that's all changed now VW_OCD FLAKE!
