I have an 07 with a sunroof. I did a quick rinse off this morning and while backing out of my driveway, noticed a drip from the passenger visor. I am guessing the sunroof drain on the passenger side may be clogged. I've noticed it on occasion when we've had heavy rain as well - it will drip when I start to move from a stationary position. Is there way to check it? I don't want to waste a trip to the dealer if I can do it myself.

Just something else to check, diff issue with diff car, but... My old honda pilot had a windshield replacement, and whoever did it (before I owned it) they didn't fully seal the glass to the frame and during heavy rain, water would get in.

Just to eliminate it...do you still have the OEM windshield?

yes, OEM windshield. I have also noticed in heavy windblown rain, that the top of the A pillar gets wet. I keep my gym bag/work stuff in the passenger footwell and always assumed it was because I had opened the passenger door to place my stuff and the rain blew in. My search has shown that this could be a symptom as well.

I tried weed trimmer line and got a little headway into the drains but got stuck on what I assume were the blockages. I poured water into the drain holes but since they are clogged, nothing emptyed from the car, so I have no idea where they drain to.

Can anybody tell me where the front drains actually exit the vehicle? Its not by the door hinges as shown in all the searches I've done - most of which related to Jettas, Golfs, and B5 Passats. I have rubber plugs there, not nipples.

I want to try to work backwards on the clog if possible before taking it to the dealer.
