yeah parking spots are going up, plenty of spots in boston going for 100-250k, there are plenty for less, but not where you want your parking spot to be!

For $1 million, it ought to come with a pair of burly men named Hans and Franz who guard it in shifts 24/7.

Knowing NYC it is probably going to a beat up Lexus with taxi scars and door dings on all 4 corners.

$1 million to say, yea thats my personalized, private spot. would love to see what fine it would be if someone parked there ,like any other person lol

Eight story luxury condo....
No wonder they have to charge so much. Not really a money making type of building is it. Why not build a 30 story luxury condo and slightly lower the price per suite... build further down, have many more $500k parking spots etc.

and you still get charged maintenance fees. That's awesome

Put a 4 post lift in the spot and split it between 2 supercars! Hehe
I really wish everyone would update their location in their profile!

IIRC, Seinfeld bought a building to park his cars in NYC.

Not really that expensive when you consider that the penthouse is $38MM.
Plus, it has direct street access from the space. That's RARE in Manhattan. You can't have your own curb cut there and expect it to be reasonable.

I want to see where that spot is, like what it looks like and who parks next to you. Also, imaging buying the spot but not living in the building. Would you rent it out?

Nobody parks next to you. It's literally one space.

Having lived in Manhattan before, I know what a chore parking can be. Also knowing that any luxury condo i that particular neighborhood will be well north of a million (probably well north of several million) I wasn't too surprised.... then I read this:
[quote]The parking space isn’t the only amenity: the shower water will be pumped full of vitamin C and aloe, and the apartments will have heat reflexology flooring.

Just did a Google Street View and its located next door to an Avis rental place. Doesn't seem like a very ritzy, $1.0M parking spot neighborhood.
