Hi guys,

I've done tuning on BMW's for autocross/track and have used spring/shock/strut combos. I've never purchased coilovers and I'm looking to make my new Jetta a little bit sleeker and handle better as well. My first car was a VW but I've been long out of the scene and combing the forums up and down to see what I would like...but I'm a complete noob on suspension/wheel fitment.

The 1 point I don't like about my Jetta is the body roll. I know I can counter that with sway bars but I'm not tracking this. This is my daily that I want to throw some more flavor into it. Lowering it can counter some body roll which is acceptable.

I would like to go with either ST or Raceland Ultimo coilovers. I plan on doing 10mm front wheel spacers and 15mm in the rear. Wheels specs are the OEM GLI autobahn wheels which I believe are 225/40 tires on 18x8 ET45.

I do not plan on slamming this car...it's a daily and just want to have more of an aggressive sporty stance. I'm thinking 2.0 drop in the front 1.5 in the rear.

A) Am I looking at good coilovers to begin with...remember no autocrossing/tracking, comfort and style
B) Am I going to be rubbing with the setup?

Thanks for any input and mods if this thread needs to move to the correct location...please do so!

Mike
