Just picked up my CW 4 door base R. Came with dunlops

I need for some other R owners to look in the spare tire well. Is there an open drain hole slightly left of center near the rear bumper, or is mine missing a plug? I'll try and post up a pic later to illustrate.

    thanks

Took a look. Didn't remove the spare. There is a plug left of center/drivers side of the bottom of the tread closest to the rear. Is that the one you talking about, or one that is seen with tire removed?

just to the right of that plug - as illustrated in the pic I added...you can see it without removing the spare.

In that case I'm missing something on the underside as I can see thru to the ground. If you get a chance can you take a pic from beneath?

    -thanks

I wouldn't be disappointed with the Dunlops. Both options are all seasons and are crap compared to an actual summer set. Good summer tires have been my most enjoyable mod to date. Really is a night and day difference.

Curious to see what's covering that hole as well. If it's not figured out by the time lunch rolls around I'll go take a look at mine.

Yeah I need to get started on that. Its a shame the bolt pattern is different compared to the MKIV as right now I have two sets of 17x8 rims for my MKIV R32 - one with RE11's and one with AD08's for autox

OK, went and looked and mine is covered. If you look at the entire spare tire well there are 3 or 4 holes like that which are covered. I couldn't find them underneath to see what exactly it is covering them but it feels like tape. It's somewhat sticky and very easy to move.
