They are easy fixes when the problems are obvious. Work on one that has a 4500.00 facelift and has a hiccup between 1200-3500 rpm's at normal operating temps only that was also causing an oil pressure drop to nearly zero at idle again during normal operating temps.
me and my guys churn out cars by the dozens and not oil changes either so little hondas with diagnostic issues actually loose me money considering I can swap the motor on a chevy venture in 6 hours.![]()

I had my windshield replaced exactly a week ago today, he had a hard time with putting the molding on and said he seen a lot of rust.
I wasnt home during install and the guy told my fiance this isn't the right molding for this car blah blah so right there told me he had a hard time installing it. Now I have a gap at the top of the windshield and I hear wind. Bout to call em back and make em put this civic mold in even though I hate Hondas with a passion

x2! , this is what happens from shoddy windscreen fitting!,
paint gets damaged and leads to rust infestation!
tennant i would seriously consider haveing your screen removed and have that rust treated and have someone else re fitt the screen, me and my friend fitted mine in my shed it wasnt hard , if it gave that guy a hard time then go else where! ,

Nice find...but feels kind of unkosher to have a civic part on a corrado.
Had mine done by a local shop...spent several days to locate the correct trim pieces and spent more on them than the windshield itself and the trim/seals are a bit off. I suspect the windshield is off too since the bad wipers got even worse.

Since its been a few months, and longer term probs?
Going to be pulling mine out for paint, i would rather spend the $226.00 on OEM on other things.

We all know they are money pits, but no reason to keep digging if suitable alternatives are around.
I just did the ford coilpack swap, so far I'm out 30$. Runs great.

Man, I keep forgetting about this. I am going to buy this as a temp fix til I get a paint job and then ill use my oem stuff.
Did anyone ever get a legit part# for this?

Just had my windshield replaced( OEM sekurit) it did come with the two side moldings attached and I also noticed that it has one at the top and then another one that goes around the whole windshield. I didn't get the big one installed due to my car being in the paint booth. Should I fork over the cash monies for the big one( OEM) or this Honda piece?
Where to find this exact piece?![]()
