10,000 ft of climbing in 100 miles is tons of work. I can not even begin to think what 20,000 ft in 114 miles would be like at that speed. Of course that is why they are pro's and I am hear working behind a computer![]()

You are not joking, Bill. I've managed to pull a muscle under my right knee just from a couple of cold rides and I cannot even fathom an idea of riding those kinds of distances, let alone doing that sort of climbing.
I am currently watching stage six of Tour of California where poor sods are in aprocess of spinning to the top of Bear Lake, which is from my understanding, a couple of CAT 1 climbs, glued together.
