I've searched for a DIY thread on this and I don't see anything. I suspect this is pretty straight forward but was curious if anyone had tip/tricks/cautions for replacing the springs yourself. I've got all the tools and have done this on previous cars but never on a German car myself. Last set was HR Coil on my S4 and i had the professionally done.
It will probably make sense once I get the wheels off but i'd always look for any feedback before I started.

I just did this on my car a few weeks back. Nothing too major, but you do need a couple of bits and tools. Dan sent me the info so if he doesn't have it still i can check to see if i still have it.

Sorry. Was in a hurry. You got it right. Dan has a lot going on w house, wife and I think he works odd hours. Great guy with some good answers, and very detailed. Tried to get him to relocate to kc![]()

Go see the MKV Forum FAQ/DIY thread. It's pretty much the same instructions
it has all the tips you need.
Plus there are 2 types of axle bolts... 6-point (Grade 8) and triple-square (Grade 10)... they have different torquing requirements.
