Das Kolorado Treffen 2012?

Just wanted to get the bug out there early for Das Kolorado Treffen 2012, the best cruise in Colorado

Hopefully Scotty will jump in soon as well, as well as any veterans of this cruise, all newcomers welcome, all Euro welcome, nothing official

The first two years I made it in the MKIII VR, then missed a year with cars taken apart, then did a year in the S4 Avant, then missed last year as it was the same weekend as H2O in NJ

Can we do Sunday Sep. 23th, usual A.M. meet, usual spot
(H2O should be the next weekend)

Scott was pretty POed that last year it was just him and Jeff in the ur. So don't plan on him planning anything this year. You know, it was just too much work to plan for no turn out. Musta wasted about 5 seconds of his life........

lol Jarred, we should do it the weekend of the 16th....? the 25th of sep is H2O, and you had mentioned that you didnt want them to conflict with eachother.

Im gonna actually do my best to be there regardless who shows. i had a blast the times i went. i may not have anything fun to bring, but its still worth the drive.

lets work something all out. we should all get rooms on one of the hotels up there and have a BBQ the night before and all... with those that do show, we can make it a great drive.

Looks like the 23rd it is. Hey. Even if it's not like typical past years lets at least do our best to do this on right. I'm going up the night before. Gonna rent a room this time. BBQ late. Then after the cruise we all should grab a bite to eat before we bail out.

been doing it since 2007, some years few cars, some years many cars, well worth the drive and cool cruising with 15 or so cars

not this time, in fact the 5000 has never made it

twice in the vr mkIII jetta, that is now apart for build

once in the b6 s4 avant, and most likely what i'll be in this year

that is unless i find a certain something that i'm looking for very soon, could be a surpise, or could be the boring old avant

Treffen really could be the best enthusiast/driver event in Colorado...

I appreciate everything you've done in the past for the event, Scott. I don't think people realize that it does take time and planning to put this on. I'm sorry that I've not been able to make it in previous years. Hopefully you'll have time for me to buy you a beer when I come down for this one.
