    P1113 & P0134 codes?

    these codes keep popping up. i replaced the precat o2 sensor 3 times within 6 mnths. 2 aftermarket bosch & the last an oem from the stealer. is there anytin else that could be wrong? could the octane level in shell 91 be too high that it keeps burning it out? its a 2000 bora 1.8t completely stock with a cai & resonator delete. motor has 240,000 kms & all maintenance is done with oem parts.

    not yet. still waiting on my cable. i used a generic matco tool scanner.

    Until the vag com gets here go do some tests.

    * Check all your grounds. Fix anything that isn't grounded nicely.
    * Check your alternator cable. Ensure it is working at low resistance.
    * Seafoam test for exhaust leaks (with a rag in the tail pipe). Fix all leaks
    * Pressure test your intake to 10 psi. Fix all leaks.

    Post back when all that's fixed, what you found, and when you have your vag com. There are some vag com tests that'll tell more.

    quickly before i venture into the unknown. might sound stupid, but, how do you pressure test your intake?

    just to update everyone. found a couple craked vacuum lines. car runs great, boost is up there and gas mileage is excellent. cleaned and replaced several grounds also, no exhaust leaks. still dont have a vagcom. cel is showing p1113 and p1128. could my egr valve and combi valve be on the way out?
