For my '95 Volvo 850 GLT:

      -Nonfunctional sunroof
      -A/C needs charging
-Something with the shift lock, I need to use the override to go from Park to Drive
      -Glovebox won't stay closed

Nothing too terrible. The '78 Benz has just about all the same issues, although it's glovebox is fine but the parking brake is crap.

      From my 97 A4:
      -Clutch needs to be replaced
-Engine is misfiring due to a defective ignition control module
-Paint chips all over front bumper from normal driving, some scrapes and dents on the back bumper from the previous woman owner.

Lucky for me I already have all of the parts so once it's all fixed she'll be running like a champ again

      - Slight miss at ~2500 rpm under third gear load
      - There's been some sort of rubbing sound in the front right suspension for four years or so whenever I corner right at speed
      - My trunk release button slowwwwwllllly stopped working, which cracks me up to the point where I almost don't want to fix it
      - Steering wheel's been slightly askew for three years after dorifto'ing into a crub
      - My windshield looks like it's been sandblasted
      - I honestly have no idea how my lower grill hasn't yet fallen off after all the times I've snowplowed sidewalks with the air dam
      - I replaced the seat microadjust handles that stripped out, and I can NOT get the damn trim pieces to snap back on in a way that allows the handles to function, so they're just kinda kickin' around my backseat
      - I should REALLY replace my entire battery cable harness, but that costs money and I have AAA.

Needs a steering alignment and could use some new front pads + rotors. Nothing drastic though.

      Nothing, today.

Mostly because in the last few months I've done:

rad fan / thermostat / thermostat housing / a/c compressor / new alternator / rad hoses / belt tensioner.

Oh... it probably needs LCA bushings.

Spoiler is forever in the raised position. The left side of the spoiler has an issue with the 'adjustment hole' and I've yet to get it fixed. I need to replace a small piece and just haven't got around to it.

Ha, that's how I felt after I put in my coil after replacing the MAF, Fuel Pump relay, battery and alternator. That feeling of "phew! Anything else want to act temperamental?"

Oh and the inspection is due.

-bumpers are all beat up, was a city car before I had it.
-small crease that spans from the LF fender into the LF door where someone allegedly backed into
-small dent in RR C pillar area
-all 4 center caps missing (logos had fallen off so I took them off)
-painted silver grill is looking a bit tired
-windscreen pitted/scratched, small chip in upper L corner

-headliner could use a cleaning, got a few areas of grime, not terrible
-armrest hinge broken (common, mine made it until last year and about 115K miles)
      -soft touch material peeled everywhere
-former owner was kind of a fatass so drivers seat is tired, could use new foam
-carpets need a good vacuum at the moment

Mechanically nothing is wrong except I will needs new pads/rotors soon-ish. All maintenance is up to date, even timing belt/wp/etc. Plugs/Wires are new, suspension is almost all new including springs shocks. Tires are at least 8/32nds and match (Hankook).
A/C is ice cold, heat is tropical. Radio works fabulously.

      E30 needs:

Rear subframe bushings and trailing arm bushings.
      ...... Really that's about it.

I am proud to say that the only thing wrong with my R53 right now is a small crack in the wind sheild. I am astonished that it has put up with 35k miles in last 14 months driving in and out of Boston rain, snow, shine. Multiple AutoX events, and some hooning here and there. Some say these cars do not last, I would disagree.

Then again, its due for some maintenance soon, like a s/c rebuild (+/- $800) and a clutch within the next 20k miles but those are wear items and should be expected with a 100k mile car.

SAI pump is dead, waiting to delete its.
ABS and traction light came on after brake pad wear sensor cable got caught in the rotor
Drivers headlight won't stay pointing up, has become permanent fog now.
Bumper just doesn't quite line up right.
      Lots o' scratches.
      couple dents.
      Trans problems.
Heated seats melted a piece of the leather seat cover, so they are basically inoperative.
      Center console is broken.
      Turbo is too tiny...

It's not a P.O.S.; It's just a MKIV Jetta, it's expected to be broken more often than working 100%
