We all wish our car was in tip top perfect condition, but that's not always the case. So.. what's wrong with it? be it mechanical, cosmetic, functional, just a pile of junk? Let's hear it. Vent away!

for me, I was SOOO STUPID, and had my bike on a bike rack on top of my car, and accidentally drove into one of those low overhang parking lots, and it hit my bike which fell down and put a dent on the top of my roof, and scratced the paint on the side of my car.

Also my front bumper cover is barely hanging on cuz i purchased an aftermarket bumper to replace the oem one after someone backed into it.

    Sigh...

Sold my 2002 Jetta, original owner, not one damn thing was wrong with it. Still original clutch/brakes (yes even the rear). Fix crap as it comes up, or pay more later.

    The torques.
My legend dates back to the 12th Century you see. My legend is quite old. The 12th Century was a long time ago. It was summer and so cold from the snow because it was actually winter or maybe it was Monday. It could have been a Thursday or possibly a Saturday or was it Tuesday though it could have been Wednesday or a Monday.

2012 GTI, dual mass flywheel and ethrottle slowness while trying to shift.

Fast shifts are not possible under normal acceleration.

Both have been flawless. Very refreshing after trying a Ford and a Hyundai (tons of warranty claims).

    Is the bike okay?

Jeep GC: nothing (it's a 4.0 ) ok, it's got 208,000 miles, the ONLY issue is that stupid ratcheting mopar oil filler cap broke, so now it's just the bottom part, the actual screw part. I have to use channel locks to get it off to change the oil because I won't spend 15 on a new one.

Maxima: CEL's on, can't bring myself to find out why. Everything runs perfectly, I have a feeling it's just an o2 sensor or something.

MDI interface would not link up to iPhone first week with the car.
Timing chain tensioner failed a few weeks ago.
Just had a rought idle that turned out problem with intake manifold.
Front driver tweeter has a fuzzy garble if used more than 30 minutes or so.
Rain is leaking into the hatch area somewhere.

I love everything else about the car but these constant problems. Something always seems to be be going wrong.

my new love, has some niggling little mostly cosmetic things wrong but the only one annoying me at the moment is my drivers recaro moves up and down a little on its rails, minor annoyance. Need to study the reconditioning DIY and I probably still won't be able to do it myself

I keep blowing ignition coils on the Golf, it has a huge dent on the rear passenger door (that wasn't me), car misfires at 3k rpm (might have to do with the ignition coil) heater core doesn't work (what vw doesn't have this issue) AC doesn't work and my seats are messed up, and I still like to drive the car

My Mazda5 has a few dings I'd like PDR'ed. Wife does not care where she parks + ultra thin sheet metal = Plus it is in dire need of a buff, thin ass paint. Other than that, mechanically it's tip top. Just did the brakes all around, rear shocks and a transmission fluid change.

The Aura is mint, mechanically and cosmetically. There are a couple of rattles I need to address, the sunroof shade for one and in the center console. I will need to change the transmission fluid soon as it just passed 40K. I need to look at the sway bar links as there is a bit of noise in the front end when hitting bumps.

For my '95 Volvo 850 GLT:

    -Nonfunctional sunroof
    -A/C needs charging
-Something with the shift lock, I need to use the override to go from Park to Drive
    -Glovebox won't stay closed

Nothing too terrible. The '78 Benz has just about all the same issues, although it's glovebox is fine but the parking brake is crap.

    From my 97 A4:
    -Clutch needs to be replaced
-Engine is misfiring due to a defective ignition control module
-Paint chips all over front bumper from normal driving, some scrapes and dents on the back bumper from the previous woman owner.

Lucky for me I already have all of the parts so once it's all fixed she'll be running like a champ again

    - Slight miss at ~2500 rpm under third gear load
    - There's been some sort of rubbing sound in the front right suspension for four years or so whenever I corner right at speed
    - My trunk release button slowwwwwllllly stopped working, which cracks me up to the point where I almost don't want to fix it
    - Steering wheel's been slightly askew for three years after dorifto'ing into a crub
    - My windshield looks like it's been sandblasted
    - I honestly have no idea how my lower grill hasn't yet fallen off after all the times I've snowplowed sidewalks with the air dam
    - I replaced the seat microadjust handles that stripped out, and I can NOT get the damn trim pieces to snap back on in a way that allows the handles to function, so they're just kinda kickin' around my backseat
    - I should REALLY replace my entire battery cable harness, but that costs money and I have AAA.

Needs a steering alignment and could use some new front pads + rotors. Nothing drastic though.

    Nothing, today.

Mostly because in the last few months I've done:

rad fan / thermostat / thermostat housing / a/c compressor / new alternator / rad hoses / belt tensioner.

Oh... it probably needs LCA bushings.

Spoiler is forever in the raised position. The left side of the spoiler has an issue with the 'adjustment hole' and I've yet to get it fixed. I need to replace a small piece and just haven't got around to it.
