Just what I heard today...is there any validity to this? Oh no what are we gonna do if its cancelled...I already have my condo and like 300 of my friends are coming as well.....

I could really care less if there's an actual show. Cruising the strip and hitting up the GTGs has always been the best aspect, in my opinion.

we haven't had a show date to confirm this early in the year in previous years. we all just assume when and figure out where later. can we trust what we are hearing?
It would be nice if we can have an official statement from Jay.

Thousands will flock regardless. The show is nothing spectacular anyway, much rather drink beers and watch nice cars cruise the strip.

I have heard rumors of it being canceled, but that's it. But on the flip side don't they usually wait pretty late to make it official? Like July or something. Im a noob when it comes to H2O sooo

I've been going to H20 for the past 4 years. Every year that I've attended there has been a "rumor" of it being canceled or moved. Not to bash Jay or anything but it's seems that he's either always really busy with things or maybe he just doesn't really care about posting until 2 weeks before the show is or isn't gonna happen, That's just the ways it goes I guess. Last year he was taking so long to get **** together and make an official announcement that another group of people got together and decided they would take it upon themselves to organize that car show. Shortly after this happened Jay started posting that "he was trying to get the venue kinks ironed out" or some **** like that. And I think it was like a week or 2 after that he finally made the dates official. I'm pretty sure if Jay drops the ball again this year that more people will organize the show again. And as far as the town of Ocean City canceling the show, I've read a few articles about the city saying that we " cause trouble, fill the town with traffic, create excessive noise, so on and so forth" but the city never came into an agreement that they weren't gonna let us hold the event there. And if OC is stupid enough to say no to us and turn down the million plus dollars that the even brings there in that week then they are stupid ass hell. Its the last week of the season, some even call it the off season. So until things are officially announced by Jay, the city of OC, or whoever might organize the show this year, just finish painting, swapping, building your cars and get ready to have a ****ing blast.
