I had a mild hissing sound at idle, but it got removed when I did a SAI block off.

Help Please !!!!! Loud Hissing noise ???

Hey everyone whats going on ??? today i went out side to warm up my car before heading out to work ... When i started my car i got out and i hear a Loud HISSING sound ??? So i popped the hood and it just got louder ?? sounds like its coming from the top of the motor and also on the left side by the belts ??? its a 2004 R32 and i just hit 80K miles?? anyone have this problem or know what it could be ?? Thank you

sounds like a vac leak to me. check all your lines.

thank you for the quick responses ... I found the problem and it was the secondary water pump vaccum line it was cracked in half ... i called volkswagen $90 for a plastic line !!!!! insane lol
