I have a 01 gti vr6 and the power locks and windows will not operate. if I un hook the battery, they seem to work for a little bit, then they quit again.I do not know if a relay is hot or what. When we first got the car it had a aftermarket radio and I have since installed a stock one. I was told that it had to be reprogrammed because the power lock and window ran through the radio, but im not sure that is correct. Yes i did set codes for radio and it plays fine. Any help and locations of needed repairs would be great, Thanks.... oh, and a new switch did not fix..
