Looks uncomfortable to ride. It doesn't look like it gives much for the thighs to grab onto, so a quick grab at the brakes might send the rider flying.

Agreed to all three above quotes.
This is an awesome concept. Sort of a quad turned Atom.
Overall a sport bike would make more sense, or so I'd think.
Unless there is some sort of quad road racing thing going on, then this is genius.

The background, color of the quad, and the angle of the camera all conspire to make it very hard to tell what I'm looking at. It makes my head hurt.

while it looks awesome sitting, and is probably fast. it seems uncomfortable for any long period of time, plus i would be afraid of flying off of it... on top of all that, is it even legal to drive on the street? if not, seems like a waste of a quad

That depends upon where you live.

    In DC/Maryland/Northern Virginia? No way.

In Arizona? Yes, for $25 annually as long as it has working taillights and turn signals.

    not quite - from http://www.atvsafety.gov/state/westvirginia.html

ATV use is banned from paved roads with a center line or more than 2 lanes, except to cross and except for getting from one trail or field to another when traveling up to 10 miles no faster than 25 mph.

which will get you pretty much anywhere you need

Same here, or even a cruiser. I believe I'd feel safer on my 2 wheeled 700cc machine than the quad here.

No video of it running on a road? No proof that it is actually ride-able. At least the French made BMW contraption has a video.
