    which valves flow the best?

Im currently building a aba/16v turbo with stock head.
I got 2 head to mix.

on the left 2.0L and on the right 1.8L. (exhaust valves)

I would vote for the ones on the right (2.0 I believe) smaller diameter which would yield more flow.

i was always told that the 1.8s were the better option.

Also, if you're looking for a head, i have a fully rebuilt 1.8 with HD valve springs in Montreal. 0 miles on it.

That is due to port size, I do believe that the valve sizes are the same. Based upon the profiles of the two, maybe the one on the left might flow more, but the one on the right might add a little bit more swirl to the charge. Those are intakes, correct? If not, it doesn't matter.

That's correct, both of my 2.0 heads have smooth valves.

I don't think you will notice a difference, especially under boost. If you are concerned with the valve choice as a flow factor you should look at valves from Techtonics or Ferrea.
