I really do like the color but if you are going to paint it what color are you thinking of?

And I'm going to post a picture showing the difference in the connectors..... maybe you guys could show me what direction i should take with them.
Blue exterior lights are illegal. It doesn't matter if they're flashing. If you want to run those headlights why not just splice in the right connectors?

I really needed to express that, and why are you going for depo ecodes? Your oem lights were better then those til you doucher'd them. God I feel so bad for that car. At least it's not a 5spd though.

Idk yet. I do agree though santorin is a nice color and like I've said earlier, it'd be nice to see it not faded (I noticed this when I took off my a4 emblem)... but if I paint it I might go with more of a wrx blue (even though its common) or just a really nice blue just so it's different... I like flat black and I was actually looking into vinyl wrapping, though I don't know the difference in price yet. And maybe going a nice shade of red but more maroon/pearl... Few weeks ago I saw a newish beamer with a great color that was like that and thats my reason for making it an option... but for now it's just an idea and I think i'm leaning more towards just a respray because I don't wanna make my uncle have to take the whole car apart just to paint the frame. (another reason I might go with vinyl wrap)

Yea...I don't like one thing you did to this car. Sorry.

Put it back the way it was, throw those new headlights out, strip the tint off the stock headlights.
The engine bay doesn't match anything either.

If you wanna stick out and do a different color that's cool but you gotta choose 1 main color and it'd be best if it accented your santorin. The blue lights and green covers and red plaid is jut way too much.

If I were you I would stick to a color close to the Santorin unless you plan on spending an insane amount of time doing it the right way, or are you just going to take it to a shop and have them do it? There are a ton of nice blue colors you can do at least but before anything if I were you I would buff and detail it really well and you may be surprised by the outcome. You may even want to invest in taking it to a professional and having it done. I had a friend who detailed for ford and he did wonders with a car that had horrible paint but it still saves you a ton of money. Just my input Regardless I think it is cool that you are trying to do your own thing, although it is not my cup of tea but I understand the wanting to be different.

Ight bro we get it. I expected input but you don't have to be a d**kabout it.

Thank you very much for the input and I get what you're saying about the buffing, but honestly I think the scratch on my hood (the worst one) is just way too deep. But I'll give that a shot. My uncle who was gonna respray it does body work and restores old cars so I'll have him try to buff it out. And thank you for respecting my choice to be different, I really appreciate it.... And to everyone hating on the bay I planned on getting lime green wheels to match so that's why I did it.

That is good then if you have someone knowledgeable doing it but it would still be worth a shot I think I am just so used to seeing similar things on the forums when I owned a 300zx so I don't know how common it is to paint some of the engine stuff like that but the Z owners did it a lot so I wasn't to surprised if you do the lime green and plaid you should paint it black just make sure you do the engine bay and door jams too because it will look weird with those blue.

I mean people can go about telling you their opinion in a better way i guess but you posted your pictures to see peoples feedback...they're just giving you a lot because they don't like what you did. You'll get it.

I've looked through the forums and thats why I did all this stuff... I've never seen anyone do it so pardon me for trying new things. And yes I posted pictures for FEEDBACK... not a**hole comments from people who are looking to bring others down. This is supposed to be a friendly community so obviously you don't understand if you think going around and saying I "f***ed up my car" is appropriate. If you don't like it then stop reading/commenting on the thread... that's all I'm saying.

I used Loctite Heavy duty spray adhesive, Order it from JEGS.
I got 99 problems, and my b5 be all of em.

I know you think you are being original, and you probably are. There is a reason you couldn't find anyone else doing this stuff I try to be friendly, but I know that every guy on here with 2-piece headlights cringed when you nightshaded half of the headlight.

Okay well personally I don't really care if they're one piece or two piece as long as they look good.... and like I said before it's completely different in person... you'd have to be brain dead to think they're two piece.... I just don't like the orange corners and I'm tight on money right now so I tried it out... It's not like it's gonna be hard to get it off... it's nightshade not paint

You're not going to make any friends on here by calling people who ciriticize you names.

Do you have any pics of the lights on under the dash?

Personally I like it, I would have left the audi rings silver on the engine cover and not gone quite as dark tinting the turn signals but thats just my opinion.

I never called anyone names... I said I don't need people to make a**hole comments... but not that it matters because it doesn't seem like too many people want to "make friends" either (and that's before I opened my mouth)

Well the engine cover only has 1 coat on it because I ran out of paint... I wanted to redo it (with the necessary painting of all the lettering) but I might be leaning towards red now even though everyone does that. And at the moment the lights under the dash aren't working because they just lost power or there's something messed up with the wiring... they are just the LED strips (blue) from Autozone and I disconnected all the original wiring and redid it to the switch.... pretty easy.... and the tint on the headlights isn't dark enough at all.... you can see right through it... but I think I'm gonna take it off and repaint just the orange corner pieces (rounded so It looks like the actual piece is black)... that was my original goal but again... ran out of paint And as soon as i get the LED's working again I'll deff post a picture.

If your not even into cars that much then why care if people think you made your car look like ass?

Why even bother spray painting plastic bits to be "original"? You can't be mad about people expressing opinions towards your car or nitpicking your terminology.... That is what forums are all about!

Now, take off the night shade and clear corner those lights if you don't like the amber reflectors.... Its easy and looks bueno.

its the interweb, everyone can be a dick and not care, to where in real life most people are to scarred to be as straight forward as they are on forums, as for your car i must agree with them, being original doesn't mean it looks good If you dont like the amber corner, look up the clear corner mod, as as said before hit them w/ a nice sand n buff, they will look great! I think the plaid is the most unoriginal thing you can do, especially on a b5. All things set aside, its YOUR car, so do what YOU want. i typically dont like blue fogs but i think it looks really clean with your blue paint, also the price of painting a car almost DOUBLES when you change the OG color, just a thing to consider.

Yeah exactly, but there are better ways of doing it rather than being mean about it. And only some of the stuff is original and I wanna do the headliner because I see a lot of people with it and I like it. And I don't wanna clear corner it because you can see the holes in the headlight. That's why I wanna get depo Ecodes. And again... my uncle is painting it... so its cheap.
