i bought an imolla 20th like 3 months ago iv noticed that with a full tank of gas the car has alot more power i dont have to push the gas much and it goes stronger. also i dont know if this matters but i replaced the oil like a month ago and noticed it also gained more power after that. can any1 tell me what could be wrong why i get more power with a full tank of gas and iv put the chevron cleaner in the tank twice but it hasnt made any effect to it at all.

sounds like maybe a fuel pump issue... maybe cary it the dealer or someone that can check out ur fuel preasure, maybe someone else can chime in with a lil better answer for ya! good luck!

I hate to sound douchey, but it's probably all in your head. The mind is a powerful object. Trying to find it, but there was a study done that showed most people felt their car was faster after caring for it (ie. car wash, or fill-up), when it was in fact significantly slower due to power to weight ratio.

ya, before i put my boost guage in i would have sworn sometimes my car was boosting like it should. but since the gauge has been in it hasnt missed a lick. so it was just in my head that something wasnt right, especially the oil change part. that should never make a noticible difference in power. but if u think there is for sure something wrong id have someone check and make sure fuel preasure is where it should be. before i started throwing parts at it....

There is a on-board weight computer that tell the ECU to supply more power on a full tank.

WHAT?? REALLY?? never heard of such, if this is true than why can u just trick the ECU to think u always have a full tank and make a lil more power? even though it woudlnt be much and probably wouldnt even be noticable, its still extra power... im listening.........
