Thread: mk2 20 20v hybrid from Barbados

    hi guys i've been working on this project for about a year now it is a 2.0 APK with a AGU head Ko3 turbo custom exhaust ,will be running megasquirt ecu ,i have a bit of concern,the cam shaft pulley is soo bloody close to the brake master cylinder how do u guys handle this problem

    we are all left hand drive.....Your best bet would be a wilwood setup to get rid of the vacuum assit

    We use a modified master cylinder from a seat Ibiza. It is a lot shorter

    I've been contemplating this one... in one of the clubgti threads, dude overcame the clearance by spacing up his rear motor mount to give another half inch or so of clearance.

    You sometime get the inlet manifold touching the bonnet when you do that. This is also a viable option tho.

    hey are you still having problems wirth engine clearance , if i remember correctly the skoda had a smaller booster set up and or it on the left hand side with a brake bar running over to the right to the pedel box. check it out i dont know if it will be any help (use to work for simpson motors back in the day)
