Who has seen? Who likes? Apparently there is a pic of black mk6 Gti, from NY, with these on, and they look nice, but I don't think I'd switch from my Schmidts for a set of these, unless they were like $300 each.

I'll see if I can find a pic.

    Yeah I know they aren't $300, lol

I'd like them smooth with the bolt area too

Those honeycomb Rotiforms are looking great, especially concave! Wish hey made them in 17

I guess I'm turning into a wheel whore, hahah

I like those. They'd look better with gold bolts showing.

The ones pictured on the black jetta above are not CCW smoothies. Those are the original BDA smoothies. Who, coincidentally is making a comeback

I would highly consider these if I was on air.. don't think my car can pull them off with coilovers..

It would be funny to autocross with them though...

They're mine. Yes, Dehate had them first in 16" for his MK3 and after talking him and the owner of CCW they agreed to build a second set for me. Mine are 18x8.5 et38 in the front and 18x9.5 et44 in the rear. With tires mounted you're looking at about 28lbs a corner. I've been driving it for the last 3 weeks both taking it easy and pushing it a bit and have to say there's no brake performance issues at all. The shop that built the car, Phantom Autowerke, is going to route some ventilation ducts under the car and behind the front bumper as an added precaution.

While these wheels seem to be a love 'em or hate 'em type of design, I personally couldn't be happier with them - in person the only word I can think of to describe them is stunning.

Happy to answer any other questions! If you have a chance check out my build thread to see some other work put in on the car.

    PS - They're way more than $300/wheel.

how far are you? are there any g2g in your area? I'd love to drive down to check them out, or see them during a mutual show

there is one in Clifton Springs, per Roc-Euro, in June?

    I love smooth wheels!

It sounds like they are a perfect fit though! Are you on air or static? They'd look completely baller with air ride, I think!

Would be in for a set of 17's in the future.

There is a set of 16's in classifieds with tires for $2700, so thats right around $700/wheel new

are these 2 or 3 piece?
