Thread: Schroth r3 install

  1. 05-24-2012 07:49 PM #1
Bought these used no instructions, read that they go on the top mounting of the C pillar.

Can some one get me some pics of how they are mounted in their car so that the back seat belt is still usable so I can get a general idea?

Still looking for some pics, need to know if the top of the c pillar is the correct mounting point. Also if the schroth mounting part for the back goes before or after the rear stock seat belt point.

they should mount in place of the rear seat belts using the upper rear mounting bolt.

Ok so unmount the belt at top of C pillar then put the schroth harness loop behind the seatbelt mounting point and fasten back in?

Sorry I just wanna make sure I have this right because I really dont wanna go into my windshield.

Got them installed I set it up as bolt>original belt>Schroth latch>washer. I think its right but I was able to do it another way to, with this way I can still use my plastic caps over the oem belt to hide the bolt.

Sending him a PM now, Thank you.
