SOLD to a lucky new owner!Thank you for checkin' this out. This 2004 GLI 24v is a rare gem. I have been a long-time VW enthusiast, worked at the corporate headquarters for a while, have compromised nothing in maintaining top quality care for the GLI.

Very, very few 2004 GLI VR6's were made. Improvements for 2004 GLI include: built-in trunk lip spoiler, chrome trim, updated silver gauges, ESP, different wheels & tail lights

Car comes with a thick folder of maintenance records, was washed & waked regularly, never driven over 3k rpm until warmed up, always garaged, never seen snow...I drove another car instead but started up the GLI at least once a week regardless.

I had the car recently inspected and am including an extra set of 4 new tires!! Current ones are nearing the minimum mark.

Mods are mostly OEM upgrades or are top quality aftermarket, most of which I had professionally installed by VW or Induktion Motorsports:

    Performance
    Eurosport intake
Koni Yellow shocks w/ Vogtland 40mm springs (optimal height, ride)
OEM Audi TT-Quattro front brakes w/ Hawk HPS pads
OEM .:R32 short shift linkage (approx. 30% shorter)
OEM Volkswagen Racing indestructible strut bearings/bushings (rare)
OEM .:R32 short shift linkage (approx. 30% shorter)
    GIAC 93oct ECU Softwars
    Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust

    Interior
    OEM .:R32 Koneig Leather Seats
OEM .:R32 shifter boot & knob
OEM .:R32 Steering wheel w/ silver stitching
    OEM Mk5 GLI logo
OEM Audi TT aluminum pedal caps

    Exterior

    OEM 18" BBS RC's
    OEM Formula Racing (FR) badge
    Clear bumper marker lights
    shorty aluminum antenna
20% tint (no cheap crap - got this professionally installed because of how much heat dark interior absorbs)

    Issues
dent in front passenger side fender
Wheels have scratches & less shiny (no bends!)
clutch is gradually starting to slip under WOT in high gears

This VW looks and sounds unbelivable with the few vr6 performance enhancements. I can lower price by possibly taking off some mods. Absolutely no trades. Lowballers will be ignored. Feel free to PM me with questions! Only reason I'm selling is becuase it's time for a coupe. Can ship around the country for a very reasonable price.

    Located in Washington D.C. area.

Bump, had the pleasure of riding with soflygli up to maryland in this car, its quick and sounds awesome. The exhaust is on par with the r32 exhaust. The r32 interior is clean, the whole car is clean. All mods are done professionally and very reliable. Great car

I've seen this car many times. Looks way better in real life than it does in these pictures.

Thing is there's no need to put the horse before the cart...clutch doesn't need to be replaced yet. I would have made sure that was already done if that were the case.

Im sure you may consider this a low ball but ill throw it out there. I have a pending loan for another GLI for 10.5k. The guy backed out when I mentioned mechanic. Just wanting to see what you think.

Just making sure its ok to drive with a slipping clutch
I def dig the car, but clutch jobs are not just a walk in the park on a o2m 6spd. If you were to throw in a oem clutch/fw kit then it would make more sense.

    glws though!
