PLEASE DONT....
You own a 20th, so please keep the stock bumper and find another 20th valence. Vortex and myself will hate you forever.

Hows does Vortex feel about the FK Racelook bumper cover from ECS? I cracked my front valance and don't feel like buying just a new valanceFor the price one of those things costs, I'd rather just get a whole new bumper, so I'm up for suggestions. Every time I see a parting out, the 20th valance is always sold...

Its you car dude, do what you like! me personally, i wouldnt..... but i dunno why everyone complains about someone doing something like this to their car, if it makes yours ugly it just makes theirs look better! lol who knows installed and painted may look awesome.. but i would not be the one to find out.........![]()

and hey! if you just want a lil dif. look to your car i really think the r32 bumpers look great! thats just my opinion though...

I actually never considered the R32 bumpers, I may look into one of those. I've been trying so hard to find a valance for a reasonable price...they're either snatched up immediately, or almost 300 new. It's just very expensive for a valance.

Conversely, how difficult will it be to try to glue the crack back together and just repaint the valance myself?

Ya, either way it'll cost ya. And your not gonna want to paint it yourself. The pros have a hard time matching these colors, unless of course u are a pro... But ya.. Im sure if it's just a crack u can glue it and sand it down. Just take ur time then go spend a lil money to have it painted. That's prob. What im about to do with mine... Damn possum!hit it right after I had a respray!

Yo man, get your hands dirty, buy some fuzor and filler, fix the crack, and mold the entire valence to the bumper itself. Sand it and smooth it, paint it, and then maliciously chuckle about how much money you just saved.

It's not terrible. You're basically just reinforcing the crack with some adhesive and sanding it down again to smooth it out.

I just recently fixed my valence and it was pretty simple. granted mine wasnt as bad as yours but it is definitely doable. Just mold it together with some bondo and take your time sanding it until you get it where you want it.
Its not hard just do it![]()
