    WTB: MK1 or MK2

    I am not all that picky as to what I want at the moment. Golf, GTI or Jetta, coupe or sedan as long as it is a MK1 or MK2. I am leaning towards an MK2 GTI with the 16v motor. I am looking for a solid daily driver, tasteful mods are more than acceptable. I have a 1981 Mercedes 300TD Turbo Diesel for sale in Southern California at the moment and when that sells I can make a cash deal quickly. IF you are willing to do PayPal i can do something immediately. Please let me know what you have as I am really having a difficult time searching on here and craigslist for something available.

    I will have the cash this week to be able to move on something. I have a few vehicles that I am looking at this week but nothing from the forums. Let me know what you have available and I will come and take a look. I am looking for an MK2. 16v GTI would be my preference but I would take a Jetta if it was nice enough. Let me know!

    A friend is on the fence about selling his '88 8v jetta. Maroonish(don't know the exactl color) 5spd, four doors, eibach springs/bilstein struts, 15' bbs basketweaves, forget the mileage but somewhere between 120k-180k. PM me if you're interested at all.
