My 2000 cabrio is misfiring. My harness that goes into the bottom of the coilpack/icm one of the terminals is burnt out leaving me with 2 of the 3 working properly. The harness should clip into the bottom of the coilpack and the wire should lead into the firewall.

Need this immediatley and can pay for it immediatley. Please HELP!!!!!!

*was told the harness and wiring should be the same for all MK3s the coilpacks look to be the same so I assume the harness would be aswell.

Its the harness that would be the female and fit over the bottom black rectangle

That's not a coilpack. That's just a coil. You could probably get the harness connector from a junkyard and cut and splice. That harness is for the entire engine.

You haven't been able to find any Mk3s in any junkyards anywhere? i find that hard to believe, especially on the crowded east coast.

yes i have standed correct about that because i had thought it needed to be a 2000-2002 cab only. then to find out any mk3 should be good. you are correct.

If you are replacing the whole harness (which you might have to do, depending on how bad the burn was), then yes, it's specific to those year Cabrios (remember auto is different from manual too). But if it's just the connector that's burnt, you can replace it with any from any Mk3 good luck!
