Malone tuning is owned and operated by Mike Malone - He hosts the 2.0T FSI thread on VW Vortex. If you have ever had APR or REVO - Demo or full software - this won't work. APR/REVO put a read lock on the ECU after flashing to protect their software. If you have APR/REVO or VW reflash your ECU back to stock it works no problem.

This tool is used to align the camshafts so the timing chain and tensioner can be installed correctly. Bought this to rebuild my FSI engine and don't ned it anymore.

can u tell me more about the stage 2 tune like and specs and power gains and was your car a 6 speed or auto? and how well did u like it

My car has a 6spd manual. The power gains are great, it felt just like other stage 2 tunes. The car idled great and still felt like stock - just with more power. When I first flashed my car the tune was a bit aggressive and I experienced some fuel cuts on the top end. I contacted Mallone tuning and within an hour they modified the file and sent it back to me via email. The car ran great and pulled hard all the way to redline. I also passed emissions in TX with a full 3" cat-less exhaust. I'm selling the software because my timing belt tensioner failed w/30k miles on it, the timing belt snapped, bent some valves. I just finished rebuilding it, but I'm selling it and already got a '12 GTI. This flash loader doesn't work on the newer cars as the ECU must be removed the first time for programming.
