    check for vac leaks
    check all grounds
make sure the ecu is seeing 12v
    verify idle air/fuel
    check cts

start with all the regular basics.

Grounds are good air fuel right on just put a new intercooler on didn't find any leaks in the piping but maybe I need to check again

pressurized the entire system? If the vacs low all of a sudden Id expect something to be out of place.

Any misfire codes? Let it idle , and pull each plug wire, the cylinder that doesnt change the misfire is the dead one. I ve seen bent valves on heads from hadling, there is always a valve open once the cams are in, and since there isnt a combustion chamber in the head...

Bent valve would show on the compression test.

You learned from it. Start your repair logic doing the easiest things first. At least you found it, i have a friend thet would still be checking wireing on the complaint.
