Well my car was broken into about 2 months ago and they stole my wheels....if anyone ever spots these Rs's around florida let me know!

Now onto the tire problems. I wasnt going to rebuild the car and was going to total it but i decided to keep it and finish it. I have put alot of work into the car and want to finish it. I picked up a set of southern ways but the offsets are poop! I thought fitment was going to be a lil easier because the car is on air but it still kinda sucks. The wheels are 16x7 front and 16x8 rear. Front offset is 23 rear is 12. Adapters are 15mm all around. The front fitment is ok and i think a 165/40 or a 165/45 should be good to go. It will give me the stretch i need to tuck. The rears is where im screwed. A 205/40 falken wont give me enough stretch to sit between the bead and tire when i air down.

I have tried my hardest to find a good stretching 195/40 or 195/45 but also no luck. I have seen pics of 165/45 on a 8 and it doesnt look to crazy. It seems to have the same stretch as my 205/40 had on my 9.5 Rs. Has anyone ran a 165/45 on a 8?...Im regretting getting the wheels but if i can get the car to sit how i want it will look money. The rears have a 3 inch lip since it has such a low offset and the wheels are in great shape. I just want enough stretch to sit between the bead and tire and a 205/40 will for sure not do it.

ohhhh and heres your free beer

anyone??....this sucks..i am not to convinced a 164/45/16 will be ok with a 8 inch wheel. I saw some pics on tyrestretch.com but dont know anyone who has run a setup like that.

Any imput would be great. I know alot of people have run 16x8 0 offset out back and thats pretty much where i will be at after adapters. What tires are u guys running for good stretch?

i have also seen 165/45/15 on a 8. Some of my friends in the honda seen have them. Guess i will have to hit up bfi and order some nankangs. I really wish toyo still made 195/40/16 as i think that tire was perfect on a 8.
