i have 2.0 MKIV jetta and i am in the starts of building the engine for a turbo set up tell me how this looks and if any changes should be made:

forged rods and pistons with 9.5:1 compression
    custom fabricating the manifold
    42# injectors
ECS stage 1 14lb clutch kit
    t3/t4 50 trim .48 A/R turbo
    FMIC
    either gonzo tuned or C2motorsports

    goals are about 250whp-275whp

i will be using the stock 5spd transmission
this is car might see track but mostly Daily driver in the city

Go to 8.5 or 8.0 compression and up the boost. @ around 20 PSI you'll see well over 200whp.
If you want to make your 2.0 8v faster, read the thread below!

Everything looks decent. Things I would consider: 9:1 would be a little more pump gas friendly, forged pistons are not neccesary at that horsepower but are def a good idea, that turbo might be a bit big for only 275whp. Consider a t3 super 60 from a 80s mustang. 48 ar is good for about 275whp and 63 ar is good for about 300whp. Both will spool between 3300-3800 rpm. Full spool before 4000rpms for sure

im still considering 9:1 and from what ive read the 2.0 will only hold up to 250whp with out new rods. i figure ill upgrade them now cause someday ill want to go to 300whp+ as for the turbo im still throwing it around. as for fueling what other things should i look at
